The dial is machined from aluminum recovered from Steve Jobs-era MacBook Pro unibody shells. The same 6061-T6 alloy that defined a decade of industrial design, recut and refinished as a watch dial. It has a cool, precise surface finish that anyone who's run their thumb across a MacBook trackpad will recognize immediately.
The 38mm case and integrated bracelet are finished in dark graphite—the same color Apple called “Space Gray” before they quietly retired the name.
